(Brief) Movie Thoughts: The Devil Wears Prada

Fabulous clothes.

Will make you want to buy a copy of Vogue and read it seriously.

Very enjoyable summer movie.

(Read The Washington Post's glowing review of Meryl Streep's performance as the icy, demanding, and oh-so-well-dressed Miranda Priestly.)

Danielle and I saw this on Friday for her birthday. The movie was very fun and enjoyable. I've been impressed with Streep's acting in other films, and she does not disappoint in this one.

Meryl Streep is magnificent, isn't she. I loved her in this role. She was so steely, and yet her humanity did come through. You almost felt sorry for her in the scene when she gets the phone call.

Did you see A Prairie Home Companion? She is good in that too.
