Currently reading . . .

. . . anything I want now that school's out!

Three books I'm currently in the middle of (soon to be joined by others, no doubt, owing to my sometimes bad/sometimes good habit of reading several books at once):

Mistress Bradstreet: The Untold Life of America's First Poet
by Charlotte Gordon

My Father's World: Meditations on Christianity & Culture
by Philip Ryken

Call the Sabbath a Delight by Walter Chantry

Can you give some follow-up comments on the Ryken book when you finish it? It looks interesting.

Call the Sabbath a Delight is very helpful, Chantry is extremely pastoral and wise in His dealing with the Christian Sabbath. Just had put in my two cents, i am Emily Oneal's old roomate/ good friend.

Stacey - Thanks for visiting! I've just read the first two chapters of the Chantry book, but so far I'm enjoying it. He brings up some good points for consideration, though I'm not sure just yet where I'll come out on this issue.

Will - I will post some follow-up comments when I finish. The book is a collection of essays loosely organized.
